The War Eagles finished 22-7 this season, Cape Coast Conference Champions and reached the Elite 8 for the first time since 1980. 22 wins season is also the most wins in 22 years. Astronaut also achieved the first back-to-back 20 seasons since 1982.
Head coach Kyle Gilreath was also named for the second time Cape Coast Conference Coach of the Year (2020, 2018) and FACA 4A District 12 Coach of the Year (2019, 2020)
The War Eagles will look to build on this momentum heading into the summer and fall focusing on skill development.
